... MY WAYS

Digitales Reisetagebuch zu den (Missions-) Reisen des hl. Paulus

Paul’s calling marks the beginning of a new chapter in his life.

Together with Barnabas, he is sent out by the church in Antioch. From there, he sets off on three major missionary journeys.

They take him on foot along dusty roads and stony mountain paths. The marches are long, and every step takes its toll. He travels by boat across the open sea. Heat, storms, thirst, hunger and dangerous crossings take a heavy physical toll on him. Yet Paul presses on. His journey takes him to Asia Minor, Greece and finally to Rome.

Everywhere he goes, he proclaims the message of Jesus, establishes new churches and strengthens existing ones. In this way, through his travels, he makes the Christian movement known far beyond Jerusalem. His journey does not merely change his own life; it has shaped the history of Christianity to this day.
