How does one set out when the destination is still unknown? How does one find one’s bearings when one’s life as it was has been turned upside down
? And how does an experience become a new beginning? After the Damascus experience, Paul finds himself at precisely this juncture.

The persecutor becomes a man who knows he has been called by Christ and sent as an apostle. But what does this calling mean?
Where should he go? Without a fixed plan, yet full of drive, Paul sets out. His mission takes him to faraway places, where he encounters people from a wide variety of cultures and faiths.

Lively debates ensue, which influence Paul’s next steps. Step by step, he finds his way. Together with a changing group of companions, he carries on the message of Jesus: he teaches and learns, he inspires those around him and encounters opposition. His personal journey will have a lasting impact on early Christianity.
