Discover PAULUS, engage in dialogue, and get hands-on: Our workshop program is designed for schools and other institutions serving children and young people. It combines the exhibition experience with practical activities in the dedicated workshop space. Workshops can also be scheduled for the morning, outside regular opening hours.

Treasures, memories, and what we cherish

Many vessels in the cathedral treasury are adorned with gold and gemstones. What is so valuable that it was encased in such a way? What is so precious to me that I would give it special packaging? Using gold foil and decorative stones, we craft a small treasure box for our own prized possessions.

Everyone knows that gold is something truly special! But why is gold so valuable and important to people? We explore the treasures of the cathedral treasury and gild ordinary objects. Suddenly, they become precious!

CHANGING LIGHT
Between seeing, marveling, and realizing

Paul experiences light as an overwhelming moment that changes his life. What is light? What do we see—and what is reality? We play, experiment, and discover using light, color, and shadow; we make the invisible visible and experience just how surprising the act of seeing can be.

CUTS, TRACES, IMAGES
Reliefs and sculptures

In the exhibition, we discover images that are not painted but carved from wood. How does a smooth surface become an image? We try it out ourselves and create our own relief using modeling clay.

TELLING MY STORY
My profile. My story. Me.

How would Paul present himself on Instagram today? What do we reveal about ourselves—and what do we prefer to keep private? We develop a character of our own, create a profile for them, and tell their story through text, images, and movement.
