Do we see Paul here, overwhelmed by a flood of light? Whether the light is breaking out of the small figure, entering it, or both, remains open. In this way, it seems to be receiving something while simultaneously losing something. Jörg Länger was not thinking of Paul here. He does, however, tell us about destruction, hope, and new beginnings.
